Northern Lights

Over near Lake of the Isles this evening, I caught a glimpse of the aurora borealis before they slipped away behind the cloud cover - bright green at the horizon. It's the first time that I've seen them, and I'm bummed that I missed them last night because it was evidently one hell of a light show. I'm contemplating going to bed early and setting my alarm for midnight to pop outside and see if it's cleared up.
