Passover

My Passover plans are maybe kind of unraveling.

So, while I hate inviting myself to things, I'm wondering if any of the Jews on my friendslist would be able to host me (or if they have hosts that would be able to host me) on Wedsnesday night? I'd be happy to bring wine or something else with to the seder. Right now, I'm still waiting to hear from my sister. While I don't want to ditch out on her, if I haven't heard whether or not she's going to be back on Wednesday by tonight I'm going to plan on her not being here for ease of food purchase and preparation should I find a host.

Alternatively, if I can't find anyone to host me (and I might not, as this is really kind of late to find a Passover host), I'll plan to host a small first night seder. Anyone want to come over for dinner with a little bit of Judaism thrown in on Wednesday? Being Jewish is not a requirement. I'll probably make either chicken or lamb, depending on the preferences of whoever decides to come.

I really, really, really don't want to spend first night having a seder all by myself. I love Passover, but it's a group holiday. Celebrating it alone would be depressing.

Update: Ed's Grandmama's funeral is on Wednesday, but they still haven't decided whether they're staying in Boston for it. (Ed wasn't exactly close to her.) Hopefully I'll know more sometime today.

Update.2: My alternative plan has changed. Rather than trying to host a thrown together seder on my own, my fallback plan is now to drive to Madison after work on Wednesday and have a late late seder with my parents.

Update.3: I talked to my sister and their current plan is to skip out on the funeral, and come home on Tuesday as originally planned.
