Halloween

For the Halloween parties last night, I dressed up as Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica.



The best reaction of the night happened pretty early. I swung by my sister's house on my way out to parties so she and Ed could see me in costume. Kiera came running to the door when I got there. She stood there, staring up at me with a transfixed look of.. befuddlement. ( Kind of like this. )

My sister asked her if she knew who was at the door. Kiera continued staring up at me for a minute, and then said "who?" Hee. I thought she'd be really excited to see me in a blond wig, but she mostly seemed kind of suspicious of me.

After stopping off at my sister's, I hit my first party of the evening, hosted by soundingsea and TJ. soundingsea and ironchefjoe were also both dressed as Starbuck. ( But it made for kind of a 'Starbuck across the ages' tableau )

TJ, for his part, had an awesome costume. ( He weeell cut yooouu! )

Next I went to the party hosted by eyelid and patrickwonders. They were cute as ( a floozy and his girl )

Darla, who was also there, had a great Princess Mononoke costume. ( with and without mask )

I ended the night at Jarrin's party. He had built a replica Ziggurat in his backyard. I like this picture, because it kind of looks like Bexley is guarding it. ( Read more... )
